There's a couple of things I would like to get off my chest, first being that even though the animation was fluid and done nicely, I just don't like this style of animation. Basically you can exploit any part of a video game and make a crude, immature representation of it and you will in fact get good reviews. What I bring of this is a lack of skill in thought imagination and creativity. Anyone can appeal to a young audience through silly jokes and anime drivin drawings, but I guess I was just expecting more.

what do you think the point of this cartoon was?

the animation isn't 'fluid' or 'done nicely', its intentionally bad because most video game parodies released around this time had fucking terrible visuals, and this is what its meant to be lampooning.

FFXI was such a big deal to me. I played for about 1 year and got SAM to lvl70....and yes I had the Opti Hat! Now I'm sad that I quit and this makes me wan't to play again, you bastard!
